This English Literature focus session, held the day before the exam, is designed to reinforce students’ understanding of key texts while building confidence in their analytical and essay-writing skills. The session focuses on consolidating knowledge rather than introducing new material. Students will revisit important themes, characters, and quotations, and practise planning and structuring high-quality responses to typical exam questions. Attention is given to developing clear, thoughtful analysis and avoiding common mistakes. By the end of the session, students will feel more secure in their knowledge of the texts, confident in their approach to exam questions, and well prepared to approach the exam with clarity and focus.
